Eek & Wild was founded in 2020 by professional dancers, Ella Fleetwood, Emily Yong and Katie Albon with a heart for spreading joy and creativity through dance. We specialise in dance for families wherever they may be. Our work is defined by offering children choice; performances are co-created with children as they choose what they’d like to see and how they want to interact and participate.

Ella Fleetwood
FOUNDER/DANCER
Ella is an independent dance artist and maker based in East London. Ella graduated from Trinity Laban with a First Class degree in 2016. Ella has enjoyed performing and teaching with Casson & Friends, Made by Katie Green, Luminelle, Springs Dance Company and Magpie Dance for adults with learning disabilities.

Emily Yong
FOUNDER/DANCE
Emily trained at Rambert School graduating with a First Class degree. She has since enjoyed dancing and teaching for various companies including Springs Dance Company, Hawk Dance Theatre and English National Ballet Youth Company.

Katie Albon
FOUNDER/DANCER
Katie graduated from Trinity Laban with a First Class degree in 2013 and has since enjoyed performing with companies such as Turned on its Head (Liz Clark), Made by Katie Green, Highly Sprung and FRONTLINEdance. She also loved performing in the Opening Ceremony of the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games.

Effie McGuire Ward
DANCER
Effie is a contemporary dance artist based Milton Keynes- a graduate of Stella Mann College and Northern School of Contemporary Dance. Her performance and facilitation work includes creations with Loop Dance, Luminelle, Carrot Productions and Rosemary Lee.
